The Kottakkal Co-operative Urban Bank was esablished in the year 1914 as a primary co-operative society. In those years the financial needs of the people in and around kottakkal was confined to a few individuals.The rising of an institution for catering the financial needs was welcomed by the people and slowly but steadily it began its path of progress. Today after celebrating our Platinum Jubilee we stand indebted for the pioneers of this institution for daringly venturing in to finanacial arena 33 years before India getting independence from British rule.
